Haunted Ottawa History Tour $30/person
Haunted Ottawa History Tours are our most popular tours with locals. Our 2019 tour has brought us to Starved Rock Country in 1858, the year of the Lincoln Douglas Debates. While the citizens of Ottawa were abuzz about this exiting political event MURDER was happening all around them. We’ve done the research into three murders that happen that same year. Brutal! Grusome! Gory! If that isn’t enough, Daniel Sheehan, newlywed, has gone missing a week after his wedding day. He’s finally found and what happen to Daniel is tragic. Is there a forgotten graveyard under an Ottawa School? Is there a mass grave in Ottawa? Find out with this seasonal, limited availability tour. Wednesdays & Thursdays in October 6pm. We are always willing to work with you if our pre scheduled times don’t fit your schedule.
Wine through time Tour $30/person
Wine Through Time with Awesome Ottawa Tours as we discuss Ottawa’s sometimes sordid past with beer, wine, and liquor. Half glass wines will be offered for those of you just getting back into the swing of things, post prohibition. Temperance be damned on this adventure! From the cholora outbreak of 1854 and loss of 7 members of the Daniels family to the Irish Rebellion on the Illinois & Michigan Canal. We also answer some questions that were lost to time.
